| I adore my new hair, and Kat (Cat?) @ The Lockworks is now the only hairdresser I shall have. Never before have I walked into a hairdressers, blathered some jibberish about what I am going for, left it to the hairdresser to take care of it and have it work out how I wanted, but better. Not to mention that the products they use are delightful, the bleach smelt like candy instead of chemical death and the staff are all beautiful and lovely.
I love Cabaret Nocturne, especially when DJing there and making the people dance to everything from Wire to Edge of Dawn to The KLF to MSI (MSI tracks that aren't Straight to Video or Shut Me Up). It was very hot and the vomiting bints were an unwelcome addition, but aside from that lovely people, hilarious dancefloor action a Cab pulling up the alleyway to the club just as I was about to brave Flinders/King steets to find one made for an awesome night.
I have to work tomorrow, which I don't love, but my shift crosses over with some people I enjoy being around which makes it a lot more bearable. Thing about call centres - it's all in the people you work with. Eight hours attached to a head set is a lot easier to deal with if you have good people around you.
Voting before work and possibly visiting Cass after work, depending on how well I am holding up after the lack of sleep I am currently getting (note to self - go to bed, retard.)
Spending the weekend messaging the Palmer kids with assorted interesting facts to know and learn about Robert Palmer. They are working at a hippie wank fest and I feel they need constant reminders of the world outside, and we all know the world outside is all about Robert Palmer.
....I'm going to bed. I may have had gin and be talking complete nonsense. |
